As the captain, I'd like to apologize for the unfortunate series of events that
took place against Australia. To the country, especially the youth that hold us
in high regard, we are sorry. And to our Australian visitors, may your view of
Filipino hospitality revert back to warm and caring people that make this count
-ry what it is.
For backlash that's been received (both here and abroad), I understand your fru
-stration comes from a passionate place filled with national pride. Over time,
one can hope that wounds will be healed and growth can happen.
For all the support and understanding, I thank you and hope our ability to rebu
-ild and regroup will serve as a sourse of inspiration and motivation.
