福斯柴油風暴後，歐洲多國打算提高柴油車的稅金，
歐洲某些城市開始計劃限制柴油車的可行駛區域，甚至要禁止柴油車進城。
在柴油車的技術重鎮，德國的市場風向也已經開始轉變。
2017年4月，德國柴油車的銷售量衰退19%，汽油車銷售量持平。
英國柴油車銷售量衰退27%。
德國和英國柴油新車銷售明顯衰退，連帶的也會影響到柴油車的二手車價，
(造成二手車價下滑)。

德國聯邦KBA說，4月份柴油車的新車市佔率下滑到41%，
汽油車銷售量持平 (可推知汽油車市佔率上升)，
另外電動車因為去年銷售基數小，四月份電動車的銷售成長率很高。
◇專家不看好歐洲柴油車市場前景
德國汽車產業專家Peter Fuss說，
「在未來幾個月、未來幾年內，柴油車的市佔率可能會繼續下滑，
因為那些關於柴油車議題的討論，以及城市推動禁行柴油車(的趨勢)都不會停歇。」
德國4月整體車市銷售量下滑8%，主要是因為今年四月的銷售天數比去年同期少了三天，
所以經過調整之後的德國4月份新車銷售量反而成長7%。

After Volkswagen's emissions test cheating scandal, authorities across
Europe are looking to raise taxes on diesel vehicles that are more polluting
than originally thought, and ban or restrict their use in some cities.
That is starting to hit demand hard, with new diesel car registrations in
April dropping 19 percent in Germany and 27 percent in Britain, according to
data this week. This is turn is beginning to weigh on used car prices.
Sales of diesel cars plunged, with their share of the overall market
shrinking to 41 percent, KBA said, noting that sales of gasoline-powered cars
were flat while electric vehicles posted strong gains from low base levels.
"The market share of diesel cars will probably decline further in the coming
months and years because the discussion about diesel vehicles and driving bans
won't stop," Peter Fuss, a senior partner and automotive specialist in Ernst
& Young's German practice, said on Wednesday
Adjusted for three more selling days, car sales would have risen 7 percent
last month
