連恩是享譽國際的搖滾樂手兼重量級音樂製作人，儘管名利雙收，人生卻失控暴走。巨星
風采背後的糜爛生活，不但讓摯愛的妻子帶著兒子離去，也讓連恩開始思考人生的真義。
他拋下一切逃離紐約，將自己和世界隔絕起來，開始一段離群索居的自我放逐。沒想到平
靜的隱居生活，卻殺來兩個不速之客：一個是許久不見的兒子麥斯，帶著自組樂團的創作
母帶來向老爸討教；另一個是曾經操刀製作專輯的歌手柔伊，爆紅之後無所適從，只想有
個懂她的人能傾訴。面對突來的改變，連恩失落已久的搖滾魂，即將被這兩個闖入的年輕
人喚醒，全數傾巢而出！
Len Black is a successful music producer. He’s got it made. And he’s
completely miserable. One day, Len flees New York City to his house upstate
to start a period of self-imposed exile, walling himself off from the world
to get some perspective.
It doesn’t work out that way. Max, Len’s twenty year-old son, drives up to
check in on his dad, and maybe get him to listen to his band’s new demo
tape. Shortly after Max’s arrival, the pair is joined by Zoe, a pop star of
Len’s making, who crashes back into his Len’s life, demanding answers.
Len’s goal was simple avoidance, like a kid hiding in his tree fort. Now the
fort is crowded with people who want something from him.
