美國好萊塢80歲男星摩根費里曼（Morgan Freeman）日前被爆出在工作環境，性騷擾8位
女星，他25日發聲明為此道歉，被解讀為承認有性騷擾。沒想到他26日再發聲明，稱自己
的舉動是開玩笑，「想讓身邊的女性和男性在我身邊感到放鬆，為此我經常開玩笑和稱讚
女性」，強調沒性侵犯女性，更沒有強迫她人用性行為換取工作。
摩根費里曼在26日再度發出聲明，「所有受到性侵犯或性騷擾的受害者的聲音都應該被聽
見，我們也應該去傾聽，但是將可怕的性侵犯，與讚揚或是開玩笑劃上等號是錯誤的。」
他指出希望讓身邊的人，與自己相處時可以感到放鬆，「所以我經常嘗試用我覺得不傷人
且幽默的方式，與女性開玩笑或是稱讚她們。」
但沒想到，事情並不如自己想像般的那樣，因此摩根費里曼對自己造成的不愉快致歉，稱
自己是無意的，但隨後他強調，「我並沒有製造不安全的工作環境，我沒有性騷擾女性，
更沒有以工作機會或是提供好處，來換取性行為。」指出先前報導中關於這些的指控，都
是錯誤的，他表示這些不實的報導與指控，讓他80年的人生即將被毀於一旦。

I am devastated that 80 years of my life is at risk of being undermined, in
the blink of an eye, by Thursday’s media reports.
All victims of assault and harassment deserve to be heard. And we need to
listen to them. But it is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual
assault with misplaced compliments or humor.
I admit that I am someone who feels a need to try to make women—and men—
feel appreciated and at ease around me. As a part of that, I would often try
to joke with and compliment women, in what I thought was a light-hearted and
humorous way.
Clearly I was not always coming across the way I intended. And that is why I
apologized Thursday and will continue to apologize to anyone I might have
upset, however unintentionally.
But I also want to be clear: I did not create unsafe work environments. I did
not assault women. I did not offer employment or advancement in exchange for
sex. Any suggestion that I did so is completely false.
