簡單翻譯就是總是讓瑪利歐去救碧琪太單調了也太多遊戲用了這套路,
導演受「超級瑪利歐3D世界」這個遊戲的影響比較大。
而超級瑪利歐3D世界這款遊戲本來碧琪就是可操作角色,跟瑪利歐一起去救妖精王國的公主
。

possible predicament: having to survive interrogations with Bowser, and make it

導演另外提到路易吉給人的印象是緊張、焦慮,所以才決定讓他擔任這個被救的角色。

out through many Super Mario video games – Super Mario Odyssey, in particular
– Horvath was inspired by another Mario game, one which is his own favorite: Su
per Mario 3D World. Princess Peach isn’t a damsel in distress that needs rescui
ng from the evil Bowser in Super Mario 3D World, but a playable character just l
ike the Italian plumber himself.

(所以上篇新聞的「讓碧琪去保護大家」的大家指的是蘑菇王國居民而不是主角團,
明顯被偷換概念了)。
結論就是這篇新聞是記者超譯,
就算中文新聞是抄英文的,那也是特定英文新聞記者自己擴張了導演的說詞,
導演本人並沒有說自己創作的碧琪形象比遊戲更好,
而是說他參考的是碧琪能當操作角色的遊戲。
