Darkness sat casually on the rooftop,
wearing her deep-blue dressing gown.
Suddenly the wind came by and they flew up together,
bumping into the bright-red sky of dawn.
Meteorites chased each other around through the space,
too excited to realize what's on their path.
They crashed into the earth carelessly,
and gave it a meteor shower as bath.
Stars were busily dressing up,
trying to be the brightest one of the party.
Each of them couldn't stand that in the dark night sky,
there was someone else more shiny.
The moon interrupted the playing ones sharply.
warning them the party had to end shortly.
The stars loudly complained why all good things come to an end,
while the moon just impatiently waved her hand.
"Gotta go before the sun comes and burns us with his fury,"
she said softly.
