If I listen to every single non essential criticism you make, I’d be a dejected being running in circles and lose sight of what is most important at the moment.
I’ve learned to tune you out and try not to take it to heart when you said explicitly that you raised a defected child and wonder what went wrong. It has been nearly 10 years since I learned that while you use power and tears and emotional blackmail to force me into a certain direction, you mostly refuse to take responsibility when that decision proved to be fatal.
I am happy living in a different time zone than you. I’d support you financially but never ever ever will I want to live under the same roof with you again, lest you develop physical disabilities and really need someone to take care of.
I love sweet solitude now and rarely do I ever long for a new family, since family is almost synonymous with trouble in my dictionary.
