昨天考得英語專業科目閱讀測驗,想問版上的老師
不知道有沒有老師可以提出您的思考方向

這題答案是(C), 我寫(A)
原文裡有一段話:
Instead of comparing the arrival times of seismic waves at different
locations, as earlier researchers had done, Wadati relied on a time
difference between the arrival of primary (P) waves and the slower secondary
(S) waves.
不曉得從這段話,哪裡可以看出(C)的觀念~

我從文章第二段的第三句那裡判斷文章說藉著p波和s波到達同地點的時間差來判斷地震深度這樣就如C答案中所提的由打雷的聲音和光來判斷距離不知道大家是否也這樣判斷？
因為我想說地震就跟(A)一樣是地面的活動,拿一顆石頭丟進井裡的時間和距離推算出時間

2015-06-07 17:02:00我記得文章有說到p波s波兩個有穩定的速度(的樣子)，我覺得剛好跟閃電和雷一樣有各自速度可以用兩者到達的差距時間計算距離，石頭大小不一速度就不一樣，多大的石頭有多快的速度可能比較難判斷?個人淺見=)
該不會全部考生只有我選(A)..... (((遮臉)))
