根據國立編譯館出版的高級中學英文作文下冊第40頁，上面兩句話是錯誤的。較古的英文
中曾使用不定詞放在句首當主語，現代英文大多使用動名詞。正確的寫法如下:
Drinking too much is bad for one's health.
I think living in a foreign country is very interesting.
但是句首用it當假主語時，其後的真主語可用不定詞。
It is bad for one's health to drink too much.
I think it is very interesting to live in a foreign country.
