you heard or learned may have been rather innocuous, you could be
attributing greater meaning to it, and then playing out the worst-case
scenarios in your mind. This may be a pattern that you are prone to, but
it is both harmful to your psyche and pointless. You need to lead your
thoughts instead down a brighter, better path.
