Danny Drinkwater moves on loan to Aston Villa

One young midfielder has returned to the Blues following a loan in League
One. Injury restricted Jacob Maddox's impact at Tranmere Rovers to just
two appearances in the EFL Trophy. The 21-year-old had previously enjoyed
a successful season on loan in League Two with Cheltenham Town in 2018/19.
Michael Hector has formally completed his permanent move to Fulham which
was first announced back in September. He has been training with our
neighbours since then and made his debut for them in the FA Cup at the
weekend when they beat Aston Villa.
