大家好，剛剛看到朋友寫的一句話，似乎怪怪的，但又不確定要怎麼修改。
原文是: Do I need to separate these mails based on where they are being
sent to?
覺得怪的點在於 mails 後直接接上 based on, 我記得based on 是形容詞，可以用來
修飾 separate 這個動作嗎? 謝謝

雖然不懂中文文法怎麼解釋 不過這句型很常見 基於什麼來做什麼事

那邊有省略which are 這個用法類似depend

我認為不對喔 絕對不是形容mail 而是整個動作 較類似 onthe basis of, according to之類用法 到底叫什麼詞性= =喔喔喔 就that is based on 形容整個動作

省略which+beV

based on這個是用來限定mail，不是來說明separate請用accroding to, in accordance with,.. 類似這種或是The way to separate these mails is based on ...

我覺得整句沒有問題，based on 在這是被動用法based on 確實是用來說明separate mails 這個動作。according to 也行啦，the way 那句不是像是聊天會用到

感覺文法沒問題，只是句子太冗長 based on where they...那直接改成by their destination就簡潔多了
