1. It is only when there is nobody around can I do my homework.
2. Were it not for my mentor’s support, I would have given up.
3. Dick wouldn’t allow me to touch his new car, let alone driving it.
另請問下面兩句為何正確：
1. The little boy held the blanket tightly as if freezing to death. (我以為freezing 要改成he were to be frozen to death)
2. When she heard the bad news, she couldn’t but burst into tears. (我以為要改成 she couldn’t help but burst into tears)
