since 可以表因果，或表時間先後
其實因果或時間都算廣義的因果
因為X>Y這樣的因果關係會發生
一定會有一個時間先後性
X一定要早於Y先發生
才會有X>Y
感覺好像在說廢話
所以簡言之，都是在說泛因果，差別在有沒有強調時間先後。
舉例，A在這邊是主要子句
A since B
如果在A這邊你就已經看到它用完成式，那這句子就是強調表達時間。
如果A沒用完成式，就是表簡單的因果敘述，你把它當因為來看也可以。
你的例子是後者，純粹強調因果之間的關係，X導致Y。
