Universidad Catolica del Norte School of Medicine is located in Coquimbo.
Universidad Catolica del Norte is private university founded in 1956, as the
eighth University in Chile, and the third Catholic University in the country.

Universidad de Valparaiso School of Medicine, was founded in 1961, as a
branch of Universidad de Chile Medical School in Valparaiso. It was the first
School of Medicine to get the Institutional National Accreditation (since
2000) and also the Mercosur Accreditation (since 2007). The results in
National Medical Exam, gets Universidad de Valparaiso as the best regional,
and one of the four best national school of medicine.

府。人口263,499（2002年），是智利第六大城市。以其為中心的都會區是智利第二。

Universidad de Chile is the oldest Medical School in Chile, founded in 1883
as part of Universidad Real de San Felipe. Universidad de Chile School of
Medicine was the first medical school in Chile, that got the maximum
accreditation (for 7 years), and is recognized as one of the best medical
schools in Chile. With five well placed clinical fields, several hospitals
and family health centers, and more than a thousand doctors and teachers, is
the biggest school of medicine in the country.
