看到這一段我感覺有點怪怪的，
confirm 一看就知道是「確認」的意思，
consent 或著 agree 才是「同意」的意思。
所以我去查了《牛津高階》，結果如下：
consent v.
(rather formal) to agree to something or give your permission for
something
consent n.
1. consent (to something)
2. agreement about something
3. an official document giving permission for something
confirmation n.
1. a statement, letter, etc. that shows that something is true,
correct or definite
2. a ceremony at which a person becomes a full member of the
Christian Church
3. a Jewish ceremony similar to a bar mitzvah or bat mitzvah
but usually for young people over the age of 16
雖然 comfirmation, consent 都有個 c 開頭可是也不能偷換呀！
另外 confirmation 的第二個意思就是基督宗教的堅信禮／堅振聖事。
同意權同意一下而已，又不是要入教，
你是在堅信什麼啦！
馬英九還以為自己真的是上帝喔？行使同意權還要跟你堅信？
節錄美國《憲法》第二條第二項：

consent 就是 consent 不是 confirm 好不好。
