SCOTTSDALE - A developing story involving Arizona Diamondbacks announcer
Mark Grace.
We're learning the 41-year-old was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of
DUI in Scottsdale on Memorial Day.
Police say they pulled him over after they saw him weaving and making a wide
right turn at 71st Place and Shea.
According to police, Grace admitted to having "a few drinks." The incident
report states that Grace had a flushed face, bloodshot and watery eyes, and
smelled of an odor of an intoxicating beverage.
They didn't say what his blood alcohol level was, but say it was higher than
the legal limit and he was impaired to the slightest degree.
Police also say Grace was taken to a command post to have his blood drawn and
the results are pending.
He was cited for DUI - BAC of 0.08 or more, DUI - impaired to the slightest
degree, improper right turn, driver's license not in possession, and failure
to carry registration card in vehicle. Grace is awaiting a court hearing.
