The Orioles have agreed to terms on a three-year deal with 26-year-old
Taiwanese left-hander Wei-yin Chen, giving them a second pitcher from Japan's
professional baseball league to pencil into their projected 2012 rotation.
The contract, which could be announced as early as Tuesday, is worth between
$11 million and $12 million total
