對恐怖分子的翻譯有點微妙不同意的地方...
So, the Reds are good. In fact, they enter the season as a the clear
favorites in the NL Central. If they are as good this year as they should be,
they'll have put together quite a little run of baseball goodness. They also
have a nearly set roster, which means not lots of questions. I'll try to make
some up to fill in the gaps.
這邊值得一提的是they'll have put together...
這是未來完成式 還是我第一次在文章裡看到哩@@
中文沒有完成式 翻起來很困難 扣除"未來"的部分
可以翻成"他們(已經)組成了某樣東西"
加上未來式 我會翻成"他們想組成的那樣東西將實現了"
接下來的困難點便是"那樣東西"
也就是quite a little run of baseball goodness
a run of something是"某事的持續狀態"
而baseball goodness我會翻成"理想棒球(隊)"
整個連在一起不要管quite跟little這些副詞的話就是"持續表現理想棒球"
加上前面的詭異時態跟put together這詞(組成)
我認為翻成"他們想組的理想棒球隊將成為現實"是比較合理的
當然 這也代表他們會強上幾年 所以恐怖分子兄的翻譯也是對的~
整段連起來的話 我會這樣翻:
紅人看來很棒 本季也是國中王位大熱門
如果表現一如預期 他們夢寐以求的理想球隊便將成真
他們有近乎完美的球員名單 問題當然不多
但我會硬湊出五問來的。
