The Biden administration postponed a routine test launch of an Air Force Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile to avoid escalating tensions with Beijing during China’s show of force near Taiwan, national security spokesperson John Kirby told a briefing on Thursday.

心得感想：
義勇兵三型洲際彈道飛彈雖然已經不斷更新, 但依舊是冷戰時期的陸基ICBM. 已經通過預算在這個十年內會以新的哨兵系統取代. 不過這次跟上次俄烏戰爭爆發的宣告, 個人感覺政治象徵意義比較大. 在警告其他核武大國美國不是不敢再次用核武. 有點像是拍拍劍鞘警告不要輕舉妄動
另一個比較有關的是我去查到底這個名義上一樣是飛彈測試的落點在哪. 美國人在測試也該會事先畫禁飛禁航區吧. 然後在很不起眼的地方發覺預定會在馬紹爾群島周邊. 就是以往美國在太平洋測試氫彈的地方, 賠償島民從五十年代賠到前幾年都還在賠. 百分之百馬紹爾居民對美國老是找他們當武器試驗場很不爽吧
