Chauncey Billups said if Pistons had drafted Melo or Bosh rather than Darko,
they might have won multiple titles:
The Pistons took Darko Milicic No. 2 in 2003 over Carmelo Anthony and Chris
Bosh (and Dwyane Wade) and won the championship in 2004 and lost in the
Finals in 2005. But Milicic was a bust and the Pistons eventually ran out of
gas. They made it to the East finals in 2008 for a sixth straight year but
then Billups was traded later that year to Denver.

still be together,’’ Billups said. “We probably would have more
championships down the road. But this is the NBA and things happen. But, of
course, I always think about that.’’
Billups 表示：
