"I'm here on vacation but I still have to work and improve on recovering from
my injury." said Bryant to Forza Milan in Italian (translated for The Times
by Jason Negri of USA Basket Notizie).

"It is difficult because I can't do much, but I am getting stronger every day
and I am hoping to return by November or December," said Bryant.

What does the Lakers' All-Star guard expect out of his team next season?
"Championship," answered Bryant. "It's always the dream when you start the
season you always want to win the championship. It's the only thing that
counts."

Would he ever consider changing sports and playing overseas after retiring
from the NBA?
"Yes, yes why not? I will come here to play and have fun," joked Bryant.
