While news of Dwyane Wade’s departure to Chicago broke Wednesday, Chris Bosh
made an appearance on HBO’s Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons.
Wednesday’s interiew with Simmons, which was taped Tuesday night, was Bosh’
s first since the All-Star break. He was never asked though about his health
or his potential return next season.
“You look at their system and the way they play, he does fit in perfectly,”
Bosh said of Kevin Durant’s decision to sign with the Golden State Warriors.
Bosh spent most of the interview talking about how he, Wade and LeBron James
came together in 2010 to form the Big 3 with the Heat and how they each had
to adapt to sharing the ball.
Bosh said after he watched the ESPN 30-for-30 film Believeland he understood
why the city of Cleveland was so upset about James’ decision to leave and
play for the Heat.
“Nobody wants to be disliked and I mean nobody,” Bosh said.
Bosh’s appearance on HBO were his first public comments since he announced
through his own public relations firm in March he no longer had blood clots
in his leg.
Bosh, 32, has stayed out of the limelight since he gave up his fight to
return to the court during the playoffs back in May.
The Heat has yet to say when Bosh will return to the court, but a few of his
Heat teammates have said they expect Bosh will play next season. He traveled
with the Heat during the playoffs and was on the bench, but was kept off
limits to the media.
While Wade went through his battle with the Heat, Bosh stayed notably quiet
on social media.
Last Friday, Bosh congratulated center Hassan Whiteside on his four-year, $98
million max contract with the Heat saying on Twitter: “Congrats to the big
fella @youngwhiteside Great to have you back bro!”
Bosh is still owed another $76 million by the Heat over the next three
seasons.
The 11-time All-Star was having a spectacular first half (19.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg)
last season and was set to participate in the three-point contest at All-Star
weekend in Toronto when his health and battle with blood clots became an
issue once again.
Bosh ended up missing the second half of the season for the second year in a
row. His battle with deep vein thrombosis, though, wasn’t nearly as scary as
the first go-around when he was hospitalized with clots in his lung.
重點翻譯:
1.Bosh
Wade...Joe...Deng都跑了 熱火這個夏天真的很難熬哩
