The Philadelphia 76ers may really have a curse when it comes to their
heralded rookies. It became a trend that No. 16 overall pick Zhaire Smith
couldn’t avoid on Tuesday.

The Sixers announced that Smith suffered a foot injury, and according to
Shams Charania, that injury was a fractured foot.

Really, this is starting to get ridiculous. Embiid took to Twitter on Tuesday
and proclaimed that a Sixers curse indeed existed.

Since “The Process” began in Philadelphia in 2014, Embiid, Ben Simmons and
now Smith have suffered foot injuries. First-round pick Nerlens Noel missed
his entire rookie season due to a knee injury, and last year’s No. 1 pick
Markelle Fultz played just 14 games after hurting his shoulder and forgetting
how to shoot a basketball.

Okafor, but he played just 53 games due to off-the-court issues and a
season-ending meniscus injury.

以及半月板傷勢結束賽季。
Of course, Embiid and Simmons have recovered from their injuries to become
NBA stars, but nobody wants a career to start on a sour note. And that keeps
happening to Sixers rookies.
當然Embidd跟Simmons都從傷勢中恢復，成為NBA明星球員，但是沒人想要一開始的NBA生涯
