Johnson, surprisingly resigned in impromptu fashion before the team’s season
ended, it has been nothing but drama for the purple and gold.

Now into the offseason, the drama continues, as the team’s coaching search
has been nothing short of a laughingstock with their main candidate, Monty
Williams, ending up in Phoenix as head coach of the Suns and their second
choice, Tyronn Lue, turning down their lukewarm offer of 3 years/$18 million
for a title-winning coach.
