REPORT: BUCKS TO SIGN GIANNIS ANTETOKOUNMPO’S BROTHER
The Milwaukee Bucks will head into next season with two Antetokounmpo
brothers.
According to this report from Gaszetta.gr in Greece, Milwaukee plans to sign
Giannis’ brother, Thanasis, to a two-year fully guaranteed contract worth $3
million.
Two years older than Giannis, Thanasis, was a second-round pick of the New
York Knicks back in 2014. He played two games for the team in 2015-16,
averaging just three points.
He’s spent time in the G-League and has been playing overseas. Last season
saw Antetokounmpo star for Panathinaikos B.C. in Greece. He averaged just 4.2
points and 1.8 rebounds.
