Lakers Hire Nina Hsieh as Head Athletic Trainer

The Los Angeles Lakers have promoted Nina Hsieh to Head Athletic Trainer, it w
as announced today.

"Nina has been an invaluable member of the Lakers and South Bay Lakers trainin
g staffs for over a decade," said Pelinka. "Her wealth of experience, ability
to forge relationships of trust with the players, as well as the knowledge and
passion she brings to this position, make her the perfect fit for this role,
and I couldn’t be more pleased."

Under the leadership of Dr. Judy Seto, Hsieh will oversee the training staff,
working with the coaching staff and front office to ensure the highest level o
f on-court performance. In her new role, Hsieh is responsible for the care, pr
evention and treatment of injuries to the players, as well as the emergency on
-court procedures.
在球隊運動表現總監Judy Seto的領導下，Nina Hsieh將會主管訓練團隊，與教練團隊和
管理層攜手確保全隊展現最高水準的臨場表現。在其新職位上，Nina Hsieh也將負責球員
的傷病護理、預防和治療，以及球場上的突發情況處理。
Hsieh most recently spent the last three seasons as assistant athletic trainer
for the team, assisting with all day-to-day operations of the training staff.
She first joined the organization as the head athletic trainer for the South
Bay Lakers, where she served in the role for seven seasons, managing all healt
h & wellness, strength & conditioning programs, equipment as well as all trave
l scheduling for the Lakers G League affiliate.
過去三個賽季她是湖人的助理運動防護員，協助訓練團隊的日常工作，在這之前他擔任南
灣湖人首席運動防護員七個
賽季，掌管球隊的健康、肌力、體能訓練計劃、設備以及湖人發展聯盟的旅行安排。
The Taiwan native and Cal State-Fullerton graduate served as the athletic trai
ner for the UC-Santa Barbara women’s basketball team from 2004-08 and the sch
ool’s men’s soccer team in 2010-11 before first joining the Lakers organizaz
ion.
Nina Hsieh 是台灣人，加州州立大學富勒頓分校畢業後，分別擔任了加州大學聖塔芭芭
拉分校女籃運動防護員五年、男足兩年，之後加入湖人體系。
