在快艇球星Paul George最新一期的Podcast中，他提到當時他其實差點要去騎士與LeBron J
ames同隊。
被交易至雷霆PG其實是非常意外的，他完全認為自己要被交易到騎士了。而當時他在騎士認識
的人Dahntay Jones也知道這件事情。那個時候Jones作為中間人就去問了LeBron說有沒有方
法可以讓這件事情成行。不過到最後這個談判因為克里夫蘭騎士隊與印第安納溜馬在同一個
分組而沒有成功。後來馬刺與塞爾提克也找上門了。他當時就覺得與Kawhi同隊也不錯。暴龍
也是有興趣的球隊之一。
結果到最後的故事大家都知道了，溜馬總理打電話給PG說他要被交易至雷霆了。這令他非常驚
訝，因為他從頭到尾都沒有聽說過奧克拉荷馬的消息。之後他就與Russ視訊並加入了雷霆。
