巫師隊的主場 Capital One Arena
雖然啟用 25 年, 但最大的問題倒不完全是老舊跟治安
那一區治安的確不怎麼樣, 看球三不五時走過充滿大麻味的街道雖然不是很舒服
街道到處都是流浪漢, 但在美國大都市這種情況很常見
人多酒吧多的地方深夜總容易有些治安的問題
我想主要是因為周圍重新開發的建案已經飽和, 沒有發展的空間
DC 相對於其他的主場有個特別的限制, 就是1899 年通過的法律
建築高度不能超過 39.6 公尺高
所以 Captial One Arena 很特別的是頂層只有在四樓以上
打球的主場是沉下去地下三四層的設計
這種規劃空間是很有限的, 假設基於未來的發展, 重蓋勢不可免
主場搬家在職業球隊很常見, 現有華盛頓國民隊就搬過一次
從市中心的 Griffith Stadium 搬到 National Park
新球場在 Navy Yard 新開發的社區, 一搬過去周圍的辦公大樓, 出租公寓, 餐廳酒吧
都開發起來了, 地產商賺得缽滿盆滿..
北維吉尼亞因為靠近華盛頓 DC, 跟維吉尼亞其他地區差異很大
基本上就是首都的郊區, 生活機能便利
一出了北維吉尼亞, 除了幾個稍微大一點的城市之外, 基本上就是鄉村好風光了
這次想搬去的是 Arlington 亞馬遜總部附近, 跟 DC 一河之隔
那邊也是新開發的社區, 還把河岸附近能填起來造陸的基本上都填的很誇張
如果球場搬到那邊, 周圍腹地的發展又可以炒作一波
還可以邊拿州政府的補助, 邊有餘裕重整場館, 巫師老闆球隊很多支
到時候重整好誰去那邊打再說..
商人的算盤打得很精的, 但這波季後的交易就說不上了...唉
