matter wave of the particle obeys the time-independent Schrodinger equation.
Suppose an additional potential appears Vint(x,t)= αx^2cosωt where α is a
constant, and ω is the external scanning frequency. Consider the first four
energy levels. What is the selection rule? Which transitions are not allowed?
