Job Goal:
This position is responsible for using our tools to perform data analysis
on millions of data points and time series data collected from applications
and solutions in the building automation and controls / IoT market.
The goal is to reduce the amount of energy required to operate the building
while maintaining ideal comfort, security, and tenant satisfaction.
The successful candidates will utilize existing software rules and will
develop new rules and algorithms to further analyze the data.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement data analytics strategies (data Acquistion,
visualization,dashboard,..)
*Follow established methods of building data analytics (using our data
Analytic Tools).
*Demonstrate competency in database and analytics applications.
*Provide consulting to sales and projects team on results.
*Provide adequately visualize results for clients.
*Be responsible for and initiate self-development to elevate job knowledge
and self-education.
*Apply machine learning algorithms to building automation data.(Training
provided)
Education and Experience:
*Bachelors of Science degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science,
EE/Computer Engineering or related.
*Programming/scripting experience in Java, Python
*Knowledge on Haystack naming convention is a plus.
*Experience with IoT, HVAC equipment and controls a plus.(Training provided)
*Knowledge on Building Automation Protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and OPC
etc is a plus.(will be trained if needed)
*Knowledge of Energy Conservation and Environmental Sustainability.
*High levels of logical thinking and problem solving skills.
*Experience in data porting, data extraction, data cleansing, data profiling
and manipulation.
*Ability to apply analytical techniques to a wide variety of data.
*Ability to organize material and summarize findings in a clear and concise
manner.
*Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and
responsibilities.
*Capable of dealing with all levels of management, client executives, and
client representatives.
