-Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Demand Planning and SIOP Manager, this position will b
e responsible leading the Global Demand Planning Process for BDB Research Reag
ents, a complex long tail portfolio composed of + 15.000 SKUs
Support efforts to generate and maintain Statistical Forecast through SCM (but
not limited to), measuring performance with different forecast error criteria
(such as MAPE, WMAPE, BIAS, among others), helping to determine best configur
ation and time series-based model / forecasting strategy, using portfolio segm
entation strategies (i.e.: ABC_XYZ)
Prepare analysis | presentations as needed to support global demand review mee
tings with global marketing team, confirming unit and revenue alignment for WW
Demand, identifying risks and opportunities, and publishing meeting summaries
and action items.
Support to the activities necessary to produce 3–5-year long Demand Forecast
Projections
Consolidates Demand review data and prepares summary reports for use in monthl
y SIOP and Finance Reconciliation process.
Pulls monthly forecast Snapshot data and consolidates for reporting and presen
tation purposes.
Responsible to ensure Master Data + Process Documentation (as SOP, Working Ins
truction) are properly maintained and updated
-EXPERIENCE
Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in Demand planning using an ERP system requir
ed.
SAP & SCM (APO) experience preferred.
Strong MS Excel, Data Analytics, Statistical Forecasting abilities are require
d.
-COMPETENCIES
Proficient in Time Series Based | Statistical Forecast
Familia Programing Language in Python | R | DAX ( preferred with usage of pack
ages such as Panda, and others )
Strong analytical skills and good problem resolution skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Leadership ability to run meetings and coordinate information across several
functions hierarchy levels.
-EDUCATION
BS/BA with concentration in Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Engineerin
g, Business Admin or Operations Management preferred.
-CERTIFICATIONS
ASCM (APICS) CPIM certification completed or in progress preferred.
