More PS4 Games Sold Than Any Other Console in History With More Than 1.5

PS4到目前為止賣出了超過15億套遊戲，已經超過PS2的數字，也是所有主機中賣出最多遊
戲的
3/31為止剛過去那個fiscal year (2020) 也是Playstation史上賺最多的一年，
250億美金收入，其中淨賺是32億。
發行PS5虧損的也透過賣遊戲還有PS Plus賺回來，
是Sony唯一一次沒有赤字的主機發行年

Sony's Game & Network Services segment generated $3.15 billion in operating
profit, also a record year.
Digital and network services (PSN) helps offset the impact from the costly
launch of PS5. Sony breaks the cyclical profit / loss cycle this gen.
主機每次發行年Sony都是take a loss on hardware sale
PS3時代 (07, 08, 09, 10) 時虧損不少 沒有倒店而繼續經營下去也是滿厲害的 XD
上圖可看到雖然PS2主機數賣得多 獲利卻遠遠不及PS4時代
2020年Sony本家發行的遊戲銷量就有5800萬片
2020 Q4有79%遊戲都是數位版 （2020全年的數位版銷售佔比平均是65%）
透過PSN每天可以賣出60萬片遊戲
Sony CFO Hiroki Totoki promised to “continue investing in partnering with
external studios, in addition to aggressively investing in our in-house
studios.” Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan has also stated the
PlayStation 5 will have more exclusive games than any generation before it.
