: BioInspira is looking for a full time Biochemical / Fermentation Engineer
: with experience in fermentation, molecular and cellular biology, or
: bioengineering. Ideal candidate should have experience in laboratory
: technique primarily in E. Coli culture and phage amplification.
: Responsibilities include:
: Desired Skills and Experience
: 1. Perform shake-flask fermentation with E. Coli for phage amplification, as
: well as phage purification
: 2. Assemble and optimize a 5L bioreactor and perform initial fermentation
: optimization on the bioreactor
: 3. Periodically analyze fermentation samples to determine bacteria growth
: parameters and optimize the fermentation process; clear data collection is
: required
: 4. Record all data in organized fashion or data logging and record-keeping
: 5. Be a self-motivator and able to work with minimal guidance and supervision
