The Metropolitan Museum of Art
Here is said where all the beauty lies.
And wonders, of a thousand years.
I place my eyes upon these works,
They gazed me back like I’m part of the history.
And indeed I am.
The wisdom of ancient forefathers bedazzled me,
How they composed such fine marble works,
Such delicate brushes, captures of humanity.
A very elegant woman in white looked at me,
She seemed to speak, her life at that time,
Glorious and proud.
Every work has its value, an irreplaceable role of
How the past is done, and I wonder
How my future will be, how can I be
An irreplaceable work of my time.
