The Angels right-hander is expected to undergo Tommy John surgery and miss
the remainder of the 2018 season as well as the entire 2019 season, ESPN
reported Monday.
Ohtani was placed on the disabled list Friday with a grade 2 sprain of his
right (pitching) ulnar collateral ligament. He underwent a platelet-rich
plasma and stem cell injection as a form of treatment Thursday and was
scheduled to be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Angels general manager Billy Eppler was optimistic that Ohtani could avoid
going under the knife, though the injury appears to be more severe than
initially believed.
"We're hopeful that he can, that it is completely treatable with the biologic
prescription the doctors recommended." Eppler said, via ESPN. "I'm just going
to take every day as it comes and put him on this course of recovery and
strengthening for the next three weeks and then deal with what we've got to
deal with in three weeks' time."

但ESPN也採訪了天使的總管Billy Eppler
他則是對大谷的傷勢有較為樂觀的看法
Eppler表示:
我們相信大谷在醫生的建議下，以生物處方的方式，可以而且完全地被治療。
未來三個禮拜的每一天都是重要的，並幫助他持續在治療和恢復的過程當中。
並且試著處理在三個禮拜的時間中我們需要去做的事情。
另外值得一提的是，天使輪值當中的Garrett Richards也曾有類似的傷勢，並藉著高濃度
血小板血漿及幹細胞注射治療成功地避免了Tommy John的手術。

PRP使用後有很多過去鐵定抓去開的病例用PRP治療好了應該說治療到不需要開刀的程度

開刀風險最大,能不開就不開,他在日本受傷也沒開刀吧

2018-06-12 00:37:00還是要看嚴重程度吧 醫學一直都在進步 如果沒有嚴重到需要開刀而有其他方法治療的話 本來就不太會有人想開刀雖然TJ已經算很普遍也滿成熟的手術了但多少還是有其風險存
要看嚴重程度還有受傷位置 也有韌帶撕裂開其他手術可以比起TJ減少一半時間回來

能不開就不開啦 開下去就有開第二次的風險啊... XD開第二次回來的就很少了 變成像陳這樣 死撐著不開
醫學系的老師們都說PRP沒用XD聽說還沒有研究證實有用
