Mount signs new deal and heads to Vitesse

Mason Mount has signed a contract until 2021 and joined Vitesse Arnhem on
a season-long loan.
The Chelsea Academy Player of the Year for 2016/17 moves to the Eredivisie
fresh from captaining our Under-18s to FA Youth Cup glory, his second
success in the competition.
Mount also had a starring role for England at the European Under-19
Championships, providing the assists for both goals in the final win over
Portugal earlier this month. The midfielder has also won the UEFA Youth
League at Chelsea, the club he first trained with as a six-year-old.
Mount joins fellow Blues Charlie Colkett and Fankaty Dabo, as well as
ex-Chelsea player Mukhtar Ali at Vitesse.
