Jake Clarke-Salter has today joined Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan.

Clarke-Salter, who joined our Academy as an Under-9, made his debut for
the Blues in a Premier League away game against Aston Villa in 2016 and
has won the FA Youth Cup on three separate occasions as well as the UEFA
Youth League twice.

After appearing in our Carabao Cup win over Nottingham Forest during the
first half of last season, the 20-year-old spent the second part of the
campaign on loan at Sunderland, making 13 appearances for the Black Cats.

Clarke Salter has enjoyed huge success on the international stage for
England's younger teams, featuring as the Under-21s won the Toulon
Tournament last month, having also been a part of the side which won the
Under-20 World Cup in the summer of 2017. He now continues his development
in the Eredivisie.
