最近在閱讀歐巴馬的演講，其中上述這句，有部份我不太明白，因此想請教大家。
Q1：就是less than 這個部份
less不是有"較少"的意思嗎? 為什麼會擺在這裡，我的語感不太好。
請大家釋疑。
Q2：這句話的說得時候，斷句應該斷在哪邊呢？
(逗號暫表說話停斷)
a.…will decide nothing,less than the future of this country.
b.…will decide nothing less, than the future of this countrt.
我聽歐巴馬在念這句的時候，斷句是b。
但目前在閱讀這句的時候，我自己會把less than想像成 【除了】的意思
因此，如果我把less than看成一組的話，那說話停頓在a的位置不是比較？
will decide nothing less than（除了）這個國家的未來。
感覺自己的想法很好懂，解釋給自己理解也看似很ok，但只怕自己想法是錯的...
