回kit大，照你邏輯來說，第2句也不是所有人會上台緊張所以是~makes "the" people nervous嗎?雖然第2句顯然the lack of confidence就不對了...

2016-09-27 23:34:00呃，我也覺得一應該要，二不用1是限定了賣菸給小孩的老闆，2沒有限定，只要缺乏自信都算
第一句像是陳述一項規範 規範本身當然不是針對特定某個對象 而是所有滿足條件的群體 沒有抓一個對象來檢查是否滿足條件 當然不存在明確的指涉 故不需the.*不該有the.

2016-09-28 13:31:00第一句的owners 前面加 the 不是完全不行，只是意思（語氣）會不太一樣：想像一下一個商店不多的西部小鎮，而這些店背後只由兩三個大老闆在經營。小鎮的mayor頒布了禁賣菸給小孩的禁令，雖然商店本身不特定，但實際上背後大老闆是特定（就那兩三人），此時加the無妨。XDD
