Which part of the state are you from? 好像在網路上看過問卷調查這樣寫(x+y)^2 聽到都是講 x plus y square，好像沒特別念括號。不過我接觸的人不是母語人士，而且討論這種問題時基本上都有紙筆輔助或者會確認括號位置，所以不知道唸法上要怎麼跟 x + y^2 區別……

1. Where can I use this coupon?(X+y)次方：x plus y all squared譬喻：你應該是要用例子吧：examples

1. Where can I redeem the voucher?趕不上進度 可以說 fall behind in the class如果要用catch up with 後面要接"人" 例如： catch up withthe others「麻煩」在英文 不同情形是用不同表達方式的要看是那種「麻煩」

要強調括號的時候可以說 open bracket ... close bracket口頭上其實常常需要區分平方、倒數或函數之類的作用範圍

可以說to inconvenience/trouble you，但這是文法和用詞上可以，美國文化上不太會很常說(和台灣甚至和日本相比)以上是以前和美國同學討論分享的
