‘would have been’ 為假設性但沒有發生過. ‘were’為過去發生過文章內一句話 ‘the owners HAD PLANNED to send to China’ 計畫性 但沒有實施

100應該是估計值 所以過去紙或許最高99/噸 所以文章用would have been 100 事實是相反沒有到100 所以這樣寫比較合理

是樓上說的那個意思沒錯內文的意思是"一年前本該會高到100左右"但事實上則因為某些理由沒高到那樣作者只是想表達當時的量"本來應該可以高到那個程度的"如此而已就跟我為了表達某個事故嚴重的程度時，常常會說"我本來該死在那場事故的"....但事實是我當然沒有死在那場事故(不然我怎會活著站在這裡講這件事

上面理解錯誤要了解文章前後文的意思 文章是說今年1月起中國禁止進口各種廢棄物 所以今年的廢紙價格才會暴跌換言之 去年同樣的廢紙是能賣到100元的 這是事實所以那句話的意思是 如果這些紙是去年賣掉的話 就能賣但現在只能賣5元以下(因為禁令的關係)上面漏字 是能賣100元 但現在只能賣5元(因為禁令的關係) 所以只有假設 但沒有和過去事實相反這裡的假設指的是「假設這些紙是去年賣掉的」

我重看了一下完整的文章，樓上faerie說的應該才是對的作者在最後那段並不是在說普遍價差，而是指一團現在的廢紙如果放到當時可以賣多少而已(你也可以想成現在市場上的廢紙在市價一百元時根本沒被賣掉，否則它們也就不會出現在現在這個地方了

跟存放完全沒關係 只是說同等的紙 不是真的指放在那個特定位置的紙
