Patterns with like
‧ You like someone or something:
例句: I like my teacher.
例句: She likes tennis.
‧ You like doing something:
例句: She likes playing tennis.

Don’t say: She likes play tennis.
‧ Like doing something and like to do something both mean the same
thing.
You use "like to do" especially when saying that someone does something
