The Lotte Giants said they signed outfielder Jim Adduci to a one-year deal
worth US$650,000, a figure that includes a signing bonus.
The 29-year-old played 61 games with the Texas Rangers in 2013 and 2014, with a
career big league batting average of .189 with one home run, eight RBIs and
five steals.
The left-handed outfielder has 902 minor league games under his belt and has
hit .285 with 41 home runs and 358 RBIs.
Also on Tuesday, the LG Twins said they signed right-hander Lucas Harrell to a
one-year deal worth $900,000, which includes a signing bonus.
The 29-year-old has appeared in 88 MLB games, 62 of them starts, for the
Chicago White Sox and the Houston Astros from 2010 to 2014. He went 18-33 with
a 4.84 ERA in 401 2/3 big league innings.
In the minors, Harrell was 67-51 with a 3.97 ERA in 169 appearances, 161 of
which were starts.
