Boston’s less-than-stellar three-point attack comes to Dallas
Storyline to watch: Can the Celtics make a 3-pointer? In their game at
Houston on Saturday, they tried 25 times to connect from beyond the arc. They
made one of them. They have some decent shooters, but they also weren’t very
good in their opener, going 7-for-27 against Brooklyn. At least they aren’t
shy about firing them up.

Matchup to watch: Rookie Marcus Smart is off to a rough start. He missed all
seven of his shots in Houston, although he did have 10 points and four
assists in the opener. He’ll likely see a lot of Devin Harris in a battle of
the backup guards. Harris has been sharp early in the season and will look to
exploit the rookie.

at Houston on Saturday, in which they were down by 19 at halftime and never
really were in the game.
Rajon Rondo made his season debut against the Rockets, getting 10 rebounds
and eight assists to go with four points. He’s coming back from major knee
surgery.
