The New York Knicks hired Brian Keefe on Tuesday as an assistant coach.

A source says Keefe is very close with Kevin Durant, who will become a free
agent in 2016.
有人爆料紐約郵報，指出Keefe被尼克聘用的原因似乎沒有那麼單純，因為Keefe在雷霆
期間一直與當家球星Kevin Durant保持不錯的關係，而KD也即將在2016成為自由球員。
Keefe spent seven seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the first two as a
developmental coach before being promoted to assistant coach.
Keefe有七年的時間任職於雷霆，正巧與KD效力的時間相等。除了前兩年擔任發展教練外
，其他的五年都被球團提拔成為助理教練。
“He’s Durant’s guy,’’ the league source said.

During last season, Durant noted Keefe had put him in his place regarding
body language and attitude.
