Lakers’ Tarik Black respects Byron Scott’s decision to sit him

“I’m just waiting on the opportunity,” Lakers rookie center Tarik Black
said. “That’s all I can do.”
湖人中鋒"小黑"Tarik Black表示：「我在等待機會，那是我唯一能做的事。」
After all, it appears likely Black will not play when the Lakers (16-44)
visit the Memphis Grizzlies (43-17) on Friday at FedEx Forum Arena. He has
missed the past five games because of a coach’s decision, a sharp contrast
to when he averaged 5.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in the previous 12 games as a
starter.
目前看來，Black應該也不會出戰對灰熊之戰。
過去5場比賽，他都被Scott教練按在了板凳席上。
Black來到湖人的前12場比賽，作為先發球員場均可以貢獻5.8分6.8籃板。
The move seemed surprising, considering Lakers coach Byron Scott has shown at
times a high priority on developing the team’s young players. But Scott
replaced Black in the starting lineup with veteran Carlos Boozer. Scott also
has featured Robert Sacre, Jordan Hill and Ed Davis in the frontcourt.
雖然Scott一直對外宣稱要鍛鍊新人，
但湖人的內線輪換一直都是老將魏延、王者沙揆、J.Hill和Ed Davis。
“He doesn’t need to do anything. He’ll get back in,” Scott said of Black.
“I have a pretty good timetable on when I’ll use him. I’ll let you know
when that is.”
對此，Scott表示：「他什麼事都不用做，我會讓他上場的。
對於使用他的時機我有明確的時間表，時機到了你就知道。」
“He’s coaching and he makes the decisions,” Black said. “I like Coach
Scott a lot. Whatever decisions he makes, I respect, especially now with it
being my rookie year. I’ve enjoyed and feel blessed to be in the NBA, first
and foremost. On top of that, I’ve been so fortunate to have the
opportunities that I’ve had.”
