查了一下 sit over 的用法：

sit over = to be seated in an advantageous position on the left of
(the player)
看來是某種比賽或如剛剛有板友推文所指橋牌?
但基本上sit over 還有另一種用法，代表
= to move sideways on a seat or along a row of seats to make room
(移到邊邊讓出空間?)
再回來看 over本身做介系詞的定義，包含：
1. across(跨越)： We must go over the mountain.
2. above (超過)： The price of Nintendo Switch is over 9500.
3. pass (傳遞)： pass it over .
