本篇論文主要探討台灣紀錄片進入院線後,可能帶來哪些革新動能,
相對的又必須面對與處理哪些關鍵問題。本文嘗試深入分析這兩種面向,
並使院線紀錄片的論述能更加多元而不落入單一的批判視角中。台灣紀錄片
從獨立製作走向院線映演一個最大改變在於資本的注入,企業或機構的委製
案所帶來的資金對於工作者的影片品質、工作條件與行銷成本上都帶來不少
利處。另外,對於一直缺乏收視人口的紀錄片類型而言,院線映演的確能更
快速提升紀錄片觀眾並建立觀影習慣,後續引發的討論也值得注意。但相對
而言,院線映演下的商業的邏輯不可避免的會與紀錄片的核心價值相互牴觸,
包括結構性問題的批判與揭露、紀錄議題與觀點的複雜度、紀錄真實、紀錄
倫理等問題。

Adopting a new approach, the thesis focused on innovative forms
,changes and related issues emerging of documentary in contemporary Taiwan afte
film industry.Two major differences were shown. First, an increase in capital,
supported by businesses and institutions, greatly improve many ways of
documentary production. Second, documentary has been film genre that lacks
audience. Therefore, another effect of entering film industry is that it can
effectively appeal to more audience than it used to and develop documentary
viewing habits in viewers. Besides, the follow-up triggered also noteworthy.
However, the pursuit of commercial profits of cinema industry inevitably
contradicts to the core values of documentary. Numerous issues emerge,
including whether documentary in theater chain retain the documentary
nature of criticism and exposure.

在上述框架中筆者嘗試以楊力州的文本為討論範例,從外部策略與影像文本
更細緻的分析紀錄片在資本挪用下的能動性與困境進行分析。本論文將先關
注楊力州作品從初期到後期風格轉變的成因,和其在院線紀錄片的代表性為
何。楊力州的作品從初期的《我愛080》到近期的《被遺忘的時光》、《青
春啦啦隊》等產生十分不同的產製與敘事差異。除了分析其外部行銷與產製
,內部形式美學的革新外,也透過水蜜桃阿嬤事件的爬梳,指認紀錄片與商
業結合下的倫理問題,並透過文本分析歸納出當紀錄片太向商業傾斜,可能
導致類型化、去政治意識形態、溫情主義、創作干預等種種問題。

In the framework mentioned above, the author utilized Li-Jou Yang's
works as an example to analyze innovations and difficulties
documentary introduces and encounters in capital market. How his films,
such as “I Love (080)”(1999) from early stage appear different
from the later ones, such as “The Long Goodbye”(2010), “Young at
Heart: Grandma Cheerleaders” (2011) on the aspects of production
process and narrative. Besides, the author also analyzed the event of
"Honey Peach Grandma" to reveal several ethical issues of
documentary as it combines with businesses.
