但是仔細思索後,發現
省略 would have been 所表達的中文意思應該是
這個被測試的樣本顯示出恐龍的體溫比周遭的環境還高
若不省略,則表達的中文意思應該是
這個被測試的樣本顯示出恐龍的體溫原本比周遭的環境還高
這樣理解不知道是否正確
若理解正確
原本的句子不知道是否可改成如下
The tested samples suggested that the dinosaurs' body temperatures would have been
warmer than their surroundings.
如果句子改成這樣是正確的,或許還比較好理解
若有誤,是否能告知上述的理解哪裡有問題呢
